BMW Art Cars.
On my office desk I have two model cars, a James Bond Aston Martin DB4 (The Corgi one, still in the box), and the Frank Stella 1976 Group 5 CSL Turbo. The Frank Stella car is the line where art meets race. I am a car guy, and I am a graphic designer and artist. So my love for BMW’s art cars need no explanation, but I think at this point I should mention a few things.

How could I not love my first car?
The 180B was it. A blue 180B. A stock standard 4 door 180B. I crashed it the first time I drove it. Three speed auto with black vinyl interior. I was happy to see the back of it. At the time I had absolutely no feelings for it, but like most things we let go when we were young I failed to see what it really could have been. It could have been a different 180B....
